SPRING 2021 HOME TOUR PART 1- PORCH, ENTRY, AND DINING ROOM
I'm currently looking out my window as I type, so happy to see the green grass, trees budding, and hear the birds chirping as the sun comes up... Spring is here! I've been shuffling things around to freshen up for a new season, and today I'm sharing my Spring Porch, Entry, and Dining Room with you.

Remember I told you yesterday that I had some small pots of geraniums waiting to be planted in the beds (I'm making sure we're past one last freeze!)? Well a few came in handy on my Easter Table, and a few more were perfect for these cute little pots I found at Homegoods last week! I like them as an alternative to candles in these larger lanterns. I'll still plant them in the flowerbed when I pick up more fresh plants for the porch for the rest of the season, but for now they're a great place holder!
Come on inside! I was ready for a change so I pulled my pink rug back out of the attic, a rug swap is one of quickest and easiest ways to change the look and feel of a space in a hurry!

I've had this wood bowl for years, it just never had a great home. It's been in the study holding remotes and cards, but I'm loving it here in the mix with a plant dropped in! I also started out with the cheeriest yellow daffodils from Trader Joe's in these little vases, but they died before I had a chance to take photos! Boo! They were closed tight the day I bought them, perfect the next day, and by the third day when I was ready to photograph they were wilting and papery. Alstromeria to the rescue, these last for weeks!
Did you catch my Easter Tablescape in yesterday's post? When the table is cleared, here's the "everyday" look for the Dining Room this Spring-
Again, nothing really new... I just shopped my house and moved things around to different places. These vases and faux lemon stems were on my mantel last Spring, I'm loving them on the Dining Table this year! Simple and classic, yet they make a big dramatic statement.
Do you spy those darling little vintage kitty S&P shakers? I picked them up at a garage sale years ago, they're just so cute I couldn't resist!
As I mentioned yesterday, I keep tweaking the artwork flanking the china cabinet.
I moved the butterfly prints down a little to make room for a pair of bird prints that I've had for a long time, they've just been out of the rotation for a while. ;) I only had room for a small plate instead of the blue willow platters that were there previously, but I really like how things stacked up!
Blue Moth Print || Pink Moth Print || Similar Bird Prints Art Prints site wide are currently 30% off with code YAY10K, that's a great sale!
I'm still so happy with the changes we made to the Dining Room, it's been 2 years now- hard to believe! The original makeover post is here for more details, and this post has more updated sources (and another way I used these big vases for Fall- probably my favorite look yet!).
Next time I'll share my Spring Living Room with you, see you then!
